hi pple!i'm back from beijing!
actually its been a long time since i'm back, but havent had time to sit down, drink a cup of hot tea, read a good book to nourish the soul and let my mind wander freely...
though i'm not exactly supposed to be blogging, should have been conscientiously reading my notes to prepare for the 4 quizzes next week on 4 consecutive days.
what a scary thought..though the thought still doesnt make me motivated enough to study=p
i should be feeling so ashamed of myself..
from the start ot the sem,my focus has been on the wrong things, it has been on anything and everything but studying..but with the pressure i'm facing, i'd better get started. there's so many things and people to prove to..
beijing has been a historical trip..seen impressive architecture(though it all centres around 9 dragons=p), experienced winter weather conditions, had chance to be roommate with my elder sis, heard interesting stories about the past emperors and their dynasties, ate lots of oily food, made new friends, learn how to take care of my parents, squeeze my way through to fight with those chinese who cut queue everywhere, endured the smelliest toilets=p...and so much more..
love travelling cos i think it allows me to gain new insights, see more of the world outside, and learn to appreciate my home better..i just love the feeling of the plane descending at changi airport where the surroundings just feel so homely..so at ease..though this trip is not exactly one of the most fun trip i had and i couldnt wait to get home bcos of all the inconsiderate pple and toilet trips i had..haha..but it just makes me feel that nothing beats being at home and each trip is really a refreshing experience....shall save more money to go travelling if i can..but not to china in the near future at least though=p
& the one thing i should mention is i climbed the great wall of china!not a big deal to many cos i only climbed up two or three pavilions..but after all its still one of the only architecture that can be seen from the moon!haha..*beams*
will post pictures when i have it..i took a photo in the ge ge's costume..think it looks rather cool, i felt so elegant and princessy..though its a far cry from my nature..haha..
all rights..tt's the summary of my trip..i should be back to my world of books..=)
nights everyone........
